Born in Gorkha, a remote district in the northern province of Nepal, I am an individual in a front-line position leading participants on tours and treks, ensuring informative and entertaining experiences for the different visitors. With active involvement in tourism sector since 2010, and having grown up in a small outback community, I have a strong understanding of, and respect for the area and I am passionate about introducing it to visitors.
Having undertaken professional training from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), I am a government licensed and a registered trekking and tour guide. With different passions leading to explore medieval alleys, the different lifestyle of people, culture and archaeological sites, history, art and distinct traditions, I am an adventurous person thriving on developing new trips and making environmental education exciting and accessible. Being a responsible guide, I understand my primary responsibilities to the core and play the role of a cultural ambassador, planning tours, offering commentaries and exciting information, which will allow visitors to fully experience and enjoy Nepal’s social, cultural and historical highlights.
I use my charm, presentation skills and expert knowledge to introduce tourists to Nepal’s unique and popular attractions, such as historical monuments, botanical gardens, museums, art galleries and other areas of cultural interest. I have led my guests to hundreds of amazing destinations in Nepal, which include Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, Bandipur, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Everest region, Annapurna and Langtang areas to name a few.
I have a flair for leadership, communication, and organization, and can confidently lead trips for all age groups. Some of my robust characteristics are accompanying tourists visiting unfamiliar areas, performing research to organize trips, offering information and advice about touristic destinations, making travel arrangements and interpreting along with solving tourist queries and problems. Other skills that I possess which have been added advantages to my career include genuine interest for traveling, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, apprehending to all customer needs, planning provisions and itineraries, and ensuring the overall safety of our clients’ outback experience.
Possessing a strong love for nature, I have worked across education, tour management, promotions and environmental sustainability. I also maintain the energy, passion, and knowledge to be an enthusiastic, flexible, proactive and a responsible tour guide.
