The Guide : I have acquired extensive experience in travel and tourism since my qualification as a Blue Badge Guide in English and Japanese with the London Tourist Board in 1994, as a guide and tour manager in Britain and Europe.
I work mainly as a driver-guide in English or Japanese, taking small business groups and families with children (max 6 people) on customized tours in my own car. I also offer museum visits or tours by coach or public transport if preferred.
I am sensitive to the requirements of my clients and have the flexibility, knowledge and experience to modify tours to suit my client’s individual request.
My main interests are football, finance, countryside, gardens, museums, castles and palaces. I am known as patient, friendly and accommodating.

Professional Connections:
I work closely with an exclusive circle of fellow Blue Badge Guides, Travel Agents and other suppliers, throughout Britain, to provide you with a high quality comprehensive service. Together , we can provide service in Mandarin (Chinese) and Spanish in addition to English and Japanese. If I can't do it I probably know someone who can!

Licenses
Private Hire Vehicle Licensing: Under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998, all driver-guides operating from London need special Private Hire (PHV) licenses.
Operator’s License
All bookings undertaken must be processed by a licensed
operator.

Driving Licence
All driver-guides must be in possession of a PHV driving license.

Vehicle Insurance
All Private Hire Vehicles must be covered by a valid insurance policy which states that use for Private Hire (ie driver guiding) is included.
I have a fully comprehensive Private Hire insurance policy. A copy of the insurance certificate is available on request.

Public Liability Cover
I am covered by a Public Liability Insurance scheme operated by the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides since my membership from 1994. The insured amount is up to five million pounds.
