Lake Balaton is Central Europe's largest freshwater blue-green colored lake, is Hungary's number one vacation resort and a major wine-producing region.
We drive 1,5 hour and start at the world’ largest and famous Porcelain Manufacture in this little village of HEREND. 

You participate on a professional guided tour, organized by the factory, visit of the museum and you will have time enough in the factory shop, where the prices are really reasonable.

Continue crossing the Upper Land and gently rolling hills with wine yards get to the blue-green colored lake.
Stop for a pleasant walk along the port of BALATONFURED, taking pictures of swans, nice gardens and promenade.

Following to an other location at the lake, drive up to the peninsula and have a breathtaking view from the baroque Abbey of TIHANY. The thatched fisherman's houses encircling the church evoke the atmosphere of the last centuries. After an optional lunch brake and walk we cross the lake by ferry and drive back to Budapest on highway.
