The highest tropical mountain in the world and the highest mountain in Peru, Huascaran is world famous among climbers. Without being technically difficult, it requires a high degree of physical preparation and adequate acclimatization to achieve our objective.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Huaraz 3,100m - Musho 3,200m - Base camp 4,200m (six hours).
Day 2: Base camp 4,200m - Camp one 5,300m (six hours).
Day 3: Camp one 5,300m - Camp two 6,000m (seven hours).
Day 4: Camp two -summit 6,736m - Moraine Camp 4,900m (ten hours).
Day 5: Moraine Camp 4,900m - base camp 4,200m (four hours).
Day 6: Base camp 4,200m, Musho - Huaraz (two hours).
