Budapest sightseeing tour

Depending on your preferences, in addition to the above mentioned sights, this tour includes inside visits to St Stephen’s Basilica and/or the Dohány Street Synagogue.

We can book an appointment for you to tour the gorgeous Hungarian State Opera House and the awe-inspiring Parliament building, where you can see the oldest surviving royal crown in Europe, St. Stephen's Holy Crown. This way you don't have to queue for tickets and may get a time slot outside the scheduled  tours, so you can avoid the crowd.

If you have an interest in Art Nouveau architecture, we will show you buildings that are triumphs of design with their flowing, undulating lines, folk art motifs, animal and floral patterns, and unique, colourful Zsolnay ceramic decorations and rooftiles. You can also tour one of the city’s many famous museums with us. Pick your choice of the following museums:

Fine Arts Museum – houses the largest collection of non-Hungarian works of art in the country, second largest Spanish collection outside the Prado in Madrid, wonderful old masters gallery

National Gallery – Hungarian masters, unique Gothic winged altars

Liszt Museum – located in the Old Music Academy where Liszt lived in his last years, Liszt's pianos, pieces of furniture and personal belongings on display

Budapest History Museum – located in the former Royal Palace, exhibition on the history of the city, remains of King Matthias's celebrated Renaissance palace

House of Terror Museum – the former headquarters of the secret police, excellent exhibition on Hungary's fascist and communist past
