The Jewish district in Pest has a long and ultimately rich history. The huge synagogues that you’ll see on this heritage tour give some idea of the area’s former activity. The Great Synagogue is the second largest Jewish temple in the world.

The tour will give you a general view trough history of the local Jewry, the Holocaust in Hungary and the present life of around 90,000 Jews living in the country.
