Sitges has been referred to as the Saint-Tropez of Spain, with property prices approaching those of the most expensive European cities, the main reason for this being the setting by the sea.
Freixenet was started after the union of two Spanish families with a lengthy history in winemaking: the Ferrers and the Salas.

The tour starts at your hotel from there we will go to Sitges (fisherman village) to see the old town (Church of Bartolomeu), we can have a light breakfast in a bar/restaurant of your choice looking at the sea if you wish.
We then take the car through the country side to see ecas and if is the right time of the year the grapes too. Once we reach Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, we will visit Freixenet cellar, especialized in Cava (sparkling wine), includes audiovisual history of the cellar, cava making, visiting the cellars by walk and train and cava tasting.
After the visit we will have dinner in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia or on the way to Montserrat, it will depend on your preferences. Once we reach the Monastery of Montserrat, will see one of the highest wiews in Barcelona as the Monastery and la Moreneta (the black virgin). Back to Barcelona.
