The tour starts at 09:30 a.m., and I can meet the group / individuals either at the hotel where they are accommodated, or at the Airport. Tourist bus (new, AC) or private car can be rented, if I get the request at least 48 hours before the tour.
Entrance fees at the museums or photo permits must be paid by the clients.
There will be at least 2 photo stops.
It will be an 1 hour walk on the Historic area, a visit to the Historic Treasure Museum and a visit to the Romanian Peasant Museum (or the Village Museum), and, of course, the panoramic visit, in the bus/car.
The panoramic tour includes: The University Square, the Northern residencial area, which is the most elegant of the city, with beautiful villas and palaces from the beginning of the 20th century, the area of parks and museums - it is the area where we take the stop for the Peasant Museum -, and also the area where in the Communist times were living the leaders of the Communist Party; the Arch of Triumph (1921), the Victoria Sqare, Victoria Street (the oldest one in Bucharest), Music Museum (outside), the Revolution Square (where all events took place in December 1989, during Revolution against Communist regime), former Royal Palace, today National Art Gallery (outside only), the Philharmonic Hall, The Opera House, the Army Academy - photo stop - the Palace of Parliament Square - photo stop - the Unity Square. Here we can start the walking part of the tour, in the old center, where we can see the remains of the old Princely Palace, residence of the famous Dracula in the 15th century, we can visit the Stavropoleos church (1724), a typical old pub, 'Caru cu Bere', see the Antique shops streets and the archeologic sites (9th century) of this busy commercial area. We continue with the visit of the Historic Treasure Museum. Back to the bus/car. End of tour.
