Bath is a unique fusion of Roman baths and Georgian crescents. Dating from the 1st to the 4th century, the Roman baths remain in remarkable condition and still have hot water pumping through them. Having fallen into disrepair in the medieval period, they witnessed a renaissance with the arrival in the 18th Century of Bath as THE town of fashion and high-society.
