The City of London is the oldest part of London. This tour will involve a walk through time - from the arrival of the Romans in 47AD, right up to the sumptuous new buildings going up now by leading British architects like Norman Foster and Richard Rogers. On the way, we will see how important landmarks have been shaped by history - whether it be the Norman invasion, the Fire of London or the Blitz.
The walk starts on the traditional edge of the 'square mile' - the Roman wall, and ends right in the heart of the city.
