Belfast city shows a rich industrial heritage, from linen making to ship building. Visit the city hall, 'hub' of Belfast and the Linen Hall library, see the Thompson graving dock - Titanic's last footprint before she went on her tragic maiden journey. See the wonderful Opera House (where Luciano Pavarotti started his career), the famous pubs and bars in Belfast, drink where Charlie Chaplin used to drink. See the river Lagan and the weir, the Albert clock tower, Waterfront Hall and St Anne's cathedral. Visit Queen's University, the Botanic Garden with it's wonderful palm house that pre-dates Kew gardens. And inportantly - and my speciality - see the colourful political wall murals for which Belfast is so famous !
Recommended tour lasts 3.5 hours; own transport necessary or can be arranged. Guiding services available in English or German and tour can also be arranged as full day (8 hours). Larger groups welcome; coach can be arranged (at extra cost). Maximum group size is 50.

The city tour can include as much or as little as you wish, internal visits can be arranged. Flexibility is guaranteed, no tour is ever exactly the same as the clients' interests determine the route. I suggest - you pick, depending on your interest and time available.
I can structure, for example, the tour to emphasise one or more of the following topics:
- industrial heritatge (linen, ship building, rope making, bottling, engineering)
- art and culture (festivals and galleries)
- education, including integrated education (curriculum, interests, school to higher level, with visits in university and/or integrated schools)
- political wall murals, their history, meaning, how they evolved, who paints what and where, understand how they have changed over time anbd why
- gardens, plants, flora and fauna (e.g.Botanic Gardens, Belfast castle gardens), or a full day tour can include Mount Stewart gardens
- shopping centres
- Belfast from a 'bird's eye' view (can be combined with above tours)
- visit the Linenhall library and learn about the history of Belfast (£25 extra for guided tour inside)
- churches and cathedrals (e.g. St. Anne's; St. Peter's; St. Malachy's)
