Besalú and the Garrotxa Natural Park - Besalú and...

Setting out from Girona around 9 am we will head for Banyoles Lake where will have the chance to wander along the shore of Europe's unique lake. Next we will go to a mediaval village of Besalú where some film scenes of The Perfume were shot .

Then we will travel on to Castellfollit de la Roca to gaze at one of the most widely photographed and painted sights in Catalonia. In the afternoon we will wander around Olot's old town and shortly after, we will head further inland to visit one of the volcanoes in the Garrotxa Natural Park from where we will enjoy magnificient views of the volcano's crater overlooking Olot and the Garrotxa area.
