The Empordàlia cooperative and the Dalí theatre-museum...

Setting out from Girona at 9 a. m. and after about one-hour drive we will reach the village of Vilajuïga where we will visit the local wine and oil cooperative.

After having the chance to learn all about how a cooperative society works, we will visit the oil mill as well as the winery and will then have a tasting of their own home-produced wine and olive oil range.

Once the visit comes to an end, we will delight ourselves with some savoury snacks consisting of local produce marinated in their own home-made wine.

Before lunch we will be given a bottle of wine as a personal gift and will have the chance to purchase some local products from the shop.

After lunchtime, we will walk around Quermançó Castle while soaking up its tales of history and legend and will then drive on to the world-renowned Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, a must-see attraction in itself.
