The tour starts with the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, a refined example of a Renaissance palace with its delightful chapel featuring beautiful frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli. The tour continues with the church of San Lorenzo; here we pay particular attention to the Old Sacresty designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, where the founding fathers of the Medici family are buried. Next we visit the Princes' Chapel, an extraordinary Baroque Pantheon in which the 'princes' of the Medici family lie in rest. The tour ends with a visit to Michelangelo's New Sacresty, where we admire the selpuchres of the 'Magnificent' Lorenzo and Giuliano Medici, along with Michelangelo's extraordinary allegories of Day and Night, Dawn and Dusk.
