An extraordinary collection of painting from the High Renaissance to the Baroque (Raphael Titian Rubens Van Dyck) housed in what was the last and most solemn of the Medici palaces. The visit also includes the so-called Royal Apartments where King Umberto and Queen Margherita of Savoy lived when Florence was Italy's capital city (1865-71). The tour continues with a visit to the Boboli Gardens, one of the grandest and most elegant gardens in Italy that combines natural and artificial architecture with a rich collection of sculptural groups that date from Classical times to the 19th century.
