Lucca orientation tour

A tour of Lucca is like walking through the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Visitors will be pleasantly surprised by the many hidden squares, almost invisible till the last minute, which sit comfortably between the imposing former residences of rich merchants.

From Piazza San Michele, once the forum, we walk to the Porta dei Borghi and the former Amphiteather, along Via Fillungo, stopping off at a renowned chocolate shop and the antique dealers' area, and then carry on as far as the Cathedral and Piazza Napoleone.
