Škoda Car Factory Tour

In 1895 Václav Klement and Václav Laurin founded the small company for bike repairing and only one year later they started to produce their own bikes. At the same time they started to build the first hall at the place of the todays´car factory. In 1899 their factory produced first motor-bikes and motorcycles, since 1905 even the first cars named after both founders: Laurin&Klement Car.

In 1925 the Laurin&Klement factory joined the Pilsner Škoda Concern for resisting of all competitive firms and the name of the factory has been changed: Laurin-Klement-Škoda, later only Škoda.

In 1991 the Škoda Factory became member of the Concern Volkswagen Group. If you accept the invitation, you will visit the Škoda Museum, you will see a short film about the history and the activities of the factory, you will have an opportunity to see the whole process of the car production

En 1895 Václav Klement et Václav Laurin ont ouvert un tout petit garage à réparer des vélos et l´année suivante ils fabriquent déjà leurs propres vélos. En même temps ils ont commencé à construire le premier hall qui se trouvait à l´endroit de l´usine actuelle. En 1899 leur entreprise fabrique les premiers moto-vélos et motocycletes, à partir de 1905 aussi les premières automobiles de la marque Laurin&Klement.

En 1925 l´usine Laurin&Klement s´est alliée, pour les raisons de concurrence, avec le consortium Škoda de Pilsen et elle a commencé à utilisser le nom Laurin-Klement-Škoda, plus tard que la Škoda.

En 1991 l´usine Škoda est devenu membre du consortium Volkswagen Group. Si vous acceptez notre invitation, vous visiterez le musée de la Škoda, vous verrez un film sur l´histoire et les activités de l´entreprise et vous aurez l´occasion de voir tout le procédé de la fabrication des voitures.
