This tour traces Roman history from the beginning to the end.
We will walk through the monumental ruins and imposing buildings to understand the glorious past of the 'Eternal City', its politics, religion and organization.
This tour includes: the Capitoline Hill with a very impressive view over the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum (ancient downtown Rome), the Palatine Hill with its Imperial Palaces and the Imperial Forums, begun by Julius Caesar and completed by Emperor Trajan, which were the expansion of the city center outside the main Forum.
The walk will also take you to visit Trajan's Market (recently reopened) which is the first example of a shopping mall and also includes taverns, public administration offices and the stock exchange.
