Who says Venice is boring for children? With all its boats, canals, islands, ancient mansions, mysterious alleyways, this labyrinth-like city is a big fantasy world. And with no cars and scooters to bother you, the whole family can relax and enjoy the tour.
After the ritual visit to St. Mark’s Square – inhabited by pigeons, winged lions, golden horses and other creatures, we’ll be riding for an hour along the canals on our private watertaxi, picture-taking and learning about how a city could be built on water and still survives more fascinatine than ever.
We shall complete our visit with the exploration of the calm and evocative backstreets and squares of Castello or Dorsoduro, where of course we’ll find the time to stop for a yummy gelato.
We ‘ll make a point to include some Venetian history too: Venice is a theme park, but a totally real one, and that’s the magic of it!
